It started sophomore year. To paint the picture we were enrolled in a class taught be a serial killer, (a post about this to come...) we were in a bit of boy dry spell (to put it lightly), and we felt no social obligations whatsoever. None. Zero. Squat.
So one day Aspen and Jules realized that there is a name for the place of nothingness that we were temporarily(although at the time it did not seem temporary) inhabiting. ROCK BOTTOM.
As the days turned into weeks and the weeks turned into months we realized that rock bottom was not going anywhere. So we made a calendar for each day of the year with a thought about rock bottom. We called it You Know You're At Rock Bottom When....
